Surreal Self Portrait

It's a self portrait from this my senior year~ The assignment was to do a surreal self portrait, and playing around with a mirror, I thought my hair would make a nice waterfall . Everything else followed from there. (My hair in real life is a hell of a lot shorter) I wish the colors had come out brighter in the picture.

This was my first time with watercolor pencils~ They're a lot of fun. You can draw with them, paint over them, then draw again (my hair) or mix colors on a separate piece of paper and use it like traditional paint (my skin)
